Meeting point:
The trails that have been created in the Polish forests and mountains close to the Czech border are just phenomenal. Perfectly suiting their topology and landscape, the Polish trail builders came up with a one-of-its-kind network of flow trails.
Most of the time the trails are meandering through the various types of forests at perfect slope angles down- and uphill. They create an immense amount of flow, some sections even when pedalling up. Mostly easy trails are peppered with accessible features that are inviting a playful riding style.
The amount of trails that can be found in the area results in a network which allows to cover quite some distance. Its loops and sections can be freely combined, as long as respecting the riding direction. Our tour takes us from along a line from the very North-West to the South-East part of the Sudety mountain range.
A ready-made and thoughtfully arranged vacation package with 5 days of wonderful trail riding, nice stays in historical Polish towns. Departing/returning directly from/to Switzerland.
In five days it’s not even closely possible to ride all the trails in the Sudety mountains. But we’ve picked the cherries and assembled them in this trip. And we’ll visit the area in a time when the nature is marvellous.
We stay at hand-picked places, always comfy and cozy and with a casual atmosphere. For dinner we’re facing the choice of local restaurants or make our own pasta party.
Day 1: Journey CH – Swieradow Zdroj (8-10 h). Arrival late afternoon. Overnight stay and getting ready to ride.
Day 2: bike-out/bike-in: Bike tour starting at the accommodation in Swieradow Zdroj and ending in the town of Szklarska Poreba at the next accommodation. Bags are delivered directly there.
Day 3: bike-out/bike-in: Again, riding from the garden of the current accommodation in Szklarska Poreba to the doorsteps of our next accommodation in Karpacz. Your baggage will be waiting there.
Day 4: shuttle-out/bike-in: In the morning we switch location a little bit further east (Glacensis), shuttling to trail head in Wartha. In the end of the day riding by bike to the accommodation in Zloty Stok.
Tag 5: bike-out/bike-in: Starting by bike in Zloty Stok, ending by bike in Stronie Śląskie. Bags are there, as usual.
Tag 6: bike-out/bike-in: The last riding day we’re facing a roundtrip, returning to the same accommodation for another (last) night. This final tour is highly adjustable in length (range 30-80 km), featuring single trails only. A spectacular finish!
Tag 7: Returning to Switzerland. Arrival in the evening (expect 8+ PM).
Cycling in all conditions. Evenings always warm, dry, and cozy.
We’re riding light, bags are delivered to destinations. Overnight stays are pre-arranged; dinners: eating out.

Trails are easy yet very playful with lots of waves, berms, etc.
