Meeting point: Bishkek
Immerse yourself in the natural landscape and experience Kyrgyzstan’s traditional shepherds culture. During our hikes/ rides and trekking, we’ll go up to the summer mountain pastures or “At Jailoo”. We’ll visit the shepherds and their animals up in the mountains. This trip is a group and family adventure with a focus on nature, sports, and culture. We offer 2 different programs.
Option A includes a 3 days trekking, with 2 nights at the same campspot. Simple logistics, wonderful views. Our campspot is just next to the local shepherd and his herd of horses. During the 2nd day of the trek we hike or ride towards the glaciers, crossing a lovely small lake.
Option B includes a 4 day trekking, camping every night on a different place. Moving around like real nomads.
Weather you are hiking or riding. Our luggage ( tents, food,…) will go on horses so also the hikers do not need to suffer too much along the trail.
Experience Kyrgyz traditions embedded in the life of nomadic families in the countryside.
Adjust activities depending on your family’s flavour. Not in the mood today? Let’s postpone and find something more exciting for now… We are as flexible as a bungee rope.
Not only kids widen their horizon during this multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary trip.
This trip is perfect for families but also for a group of friends, … This trip allows people with different fitness level, different interests to all have a great time in this wonderfull country.
